Explanation

• The Virgin Mary and the infant Christ with the righteous; Jerome (c. 347 – c. 420), a saint, and a donor figure. Jerome settled in Jerusalem in 386. A learned man, he translated the Bible into Latin. He has been regarded as one of the four Western church fathers since the Middle Ages.
