Explanation
- Antonio Aquaroni worked for the papal printing press Calcografia Camerale in Rome. It was said of Aquaroni that he charted Rome as though he carried a compass before his eyes. This volume depicts eight ancient bridges crossing the rivers Tiber and Aniene.
